Our Team
Tony Velez, President & CEO
Tony is the founder and owner of PCNET. He has been in the business of IT management and security for over 21 years! Tony leads his team in making sure all of their client networks are secure and running error-free. He ensures all of the company's tools are performing optimally and that the team is staying on top of support tickets and performance reports.
Tony has experience in a wide variety of industries in Alaska. Prior to founding PCNET, Tony was a Network Administrator in the medical industry for two and a half years. Tony also worked as a Network Manager for an Alaska Native Corporation and for the first cell company in Alaska! Tony has received many certifications over the course of his career.
Tony and his wife, Ines, have been in Anchorage for over 30 years. They are originally from Ecuador in South America. When his kids were growing up, Tony enjoyed coaching soccer. Today, his hobbies include biking, playing tennis, going to the gym, camping, jet-skiing, and snow machining! Tony is passionate about empowering local businesses to achieve immediate, cutting-edge results for long term growth by helping them maximize their productivity.
Ines Velez, Vice President & Office Manager
Ines has been in the IT business for over 15 years with her husband, Tony. As Vice President, she is second-in-command and she manages all of the administrative work around the office. When you visit us at PCNET, Ines is the friendly face who greets you at the door and directs you to the right person to take care of your needs!
Ines is originally from Ecuador in South America. She and her husband have been in Anchorage for over 30 years serving their local community. Ines does a lot of volunteer work, helping people whenever she sees a need. Her hobbies include going to the gym, walking outside, biking, and reading, especially her Bible.
Tare Choi, Network Technician
Tare started with PCNET over three years ago. He formerly worked in the construction industry, remodeling homes and restaurants. Tare's primary role at PCNET is client troubleshooting. He handles all computer, printer, and server issues, coming onsite when necessary. Tare's certifications include A+ and Network+ through CompTIA.
In his spare time, Tare does CrossFit. He enjoys hiking and fishing during the summer. His favorite part of the job at PCNET is the satisfaction of helping people get their businesses up and running smoothly.
Jordan LaPrise, Network Technician
Jordan, a dedicated network technician, recently joined the PCNET team and quickly became a valuable asset. With over 3 years of professional experience as a network administrator and a passion for IT work, his expertise in diverse network technologies and solutions enables him to rapidly identify and troubleshoot complex issues, ensuring seamless performance for clients. As a testament to his skills, Jordan holds TestOut PC Pro and CompTIA Network+ certifications.
When not working, Jordan enjoys exploring his creative side through music production and game development. During the winter he enjoys snowboarding with his brother, and during the small summer window he enjoys camping and concerts.
Andrea Velez, Billing & Payroll Specialist
Andrea has been with PCNET for close to a decade. She takes care of client billing, invoice processing, client questions, and she manages payroll for our staff.
Andrea was born and raised in Anchorage. She has a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration and Management through the University of Alaska Anchorage. Her hobbies include spending time in the outdoors, working out, singing, and traveling. She has been to almost every continent on the globe! She enjoys visiting exotic and historic places the most.
Ulysses Henriquez
Ulysses started with PCNET seven years ago as a part time contractor. He does a little bit of everything for our clients, from running internet cables to installing surveillance systems! He is certified with A+ from CompTIA.
Ulysses is originally from Mexico City where he received a degree in law. He moved to Alaska twelve years ago and today he also works as an interpreter for the court systems, Anchorage School District, and the hospitals. In his free time, Ulysses enjoys fat tire biking in the winter and mountain biking in the summer with his family!
